Teehee.
They do something on here called 'rabbiting' the drillpipe, where they drop a lump of metal down each stand (95 ft length) of drillpipe before running it in the hole, just to make sure that the inside of the pipe is rust free and clear of blockages. Anyway the rig crew forgot to retrieve said 'rabbit' and ran it in the hole inside the drillpipe, so had to pull 10000 ft of drillpipe out of the hole searching every stand of drillpipe for this rabbit. One of the jokers in the ballast control room filled a bag with lettuce from the galley and took it up to the drill floor and offered it to the driller saying that maybe the 'rabbit' was hungry and this would lure it into the open. Needless to say we were in hysterics but the driling crew were not amused.
Am running in stealth mode at the moment (which involves switching between the galley and the tv room at opportune moments...ie whenever anyone's looking for me)
