Got the chance of late deal to Boro on the 14th March for 1 week with the family.."All skiers"
Will the current snow cover last?
Is there any credibilty in the forecasts that it is going to snow quite a bit in the next 7 days?
Never been to Boro before but i could have a good deal on this one
Last week all slopes were open and it was the best skiing conditions seen for ages - I THINK
The locals feel that there is so much snow on top that skiing will last into April and maybe May. Obviously depending on the weather in the next few weeks, the lower slopes will deteriorate as temperatures rise and will get slushy in the afternoons. They can teach beginners on the top (of the gondola) so the worst will be that you all have to ski on the top. Food and drink are more ...

Food and drink are more expensive up there but you can always take drinks and snacks with you.
If you can wait a few days, there is more snow forecast for this weekend, which will help the lower slopes. Watch the web cams and read any 'on the ground' reports.
As a family, we love Boro as it is easy to find one another. If it's a brilliant deal, I personally would go for it.
If you can prebook ski school, equipment and lift passes etc at the time of booking, do so. It's the cheapest way and many tour operators are offering greatly reduced or free lift passes at the moment.
Just got back laat night. Snow at the bottom is a bit poor in places, but most runs are open especially after some snow on Friday night - was raining yesterday at bottom so hopefully snow up top.
Speaking of up top, snow is brill, one or two icy places but cover is fine. On blue runs myself, so can't speak for the red runs though. Musalla path is open and almost all good snow, again a bit icy in patches towards the bottom. It snowed on Tuesday, so Wednesday was an absolute ...

Musalla path is open and almost all good snow, again a bit icy in patches towards the bottom. It snowed on Tuesday, so Wednesday was an absolute dream. Gondola shut on Thursday because of heavy fog, so when we went up on Friday the cafe owners were digging out the tables and benches!!
Resort is also pretty quiet now, so there's not loads of people pinching the good snow! I'd say go for it but be prepared to go up the gondola just in case.
