Off to Bansko on Friday for 10 days just keen to find out what the conditions are like out there is there plenty of snow?re: Weather in Bansko

To be honest the temps in Bansko have crept upwards over the last few days.If you look at the webcams there is no snow on the trees, and no icicles.....Me thinks a thaw is on the way!!!
I was there last week, and it started rainng in town on Friday...hardly any snow left in town Saturday morning!!!

Well we had a very big dump of snow Sunday all day and through the night and through the day monday. it was that bad that they had to close the Predel pass. Steve C sat there for 2hrs whilst they tried to clear it on his way to the airport for pick up monday luchtime. Also again last night we had more snow. And yes whilst there is a thaw on and off during the day in town it is still pretty cold up on the mountain and the town is still full of snow.
