Hi folks,
Sorry for the delays in posting any forecasts but with Christmas and all that it’s been a bit busy. I hope you all ate well, drank well and have overdone all !
As can be seen, conditions have not been perfect and the weather is not how it should be. The trouble is, it is not looking too good for the next 7 to 10 days either albeit the future is hard to predict as we know.

As can be seen, conditions have not been perfect and the weather is not how it should be. The trouble is, it is not looking too good for the next 7 to 10 days either albeit the future is hard to predict as we know.
Let me start with the temperature as the recent warmer temps have been unusual. They have settled down a bit and they should remain around zero in the day and -2 to -7c in the nights for the rest of the week. EARLY indications suggest it getting colder after next weekend (5th Jan) but again, it is too early to call. This coming week will see a sunny New Years, in general, with the odd snow shower.
Which brings me onto the snow. There are no signs of any snow this coming week. Sorry folks, but I cannot find any info to suggest anything different. High pressure is going to dominate this coming week and we don’t want high pressures necessarily!
After next weekend, things are looking to change with the drop in temps and a few days of snow, but it is a way off.
I shall keep you updated and let’s hope the snow cannons can get mass producing!

It says on many weather sites that the temps are well below those required for making snow, and snow forecast Thurs Sat and Sun

Got to get some snow sorted for the end of Jan though!
