Hi folks,
Well my first forecast of the season was not bad considering I have not studied the charts etc. for most of the year!
Nice to see the base layers being put down and cold enough for the blowers to be on also to add to the slopes.
Here is my forecast for the next 7 days or so and please remember that the forecast is a general one for all the resorts and not specific to Borovets, meaning that the forecast may not be happening in one location but it maybe in another !!

Here is my forecast for the next 7 days or so and please remember that the forecast is a general one for all the resorts and not specific to Borovets, meaning that the forecast may not be happening in one location but it maybe in another !!
It is going to remain cold with temperatures getting very cold by the weekend before warming up a little by Sunday. Early indications are showing it getting VERY VERY cold (-10 to -15c) by late Monday (10th) and Tuesday but I will keep you updated on that.
As for precipitation, more snow to come during Wednesday with virtually a full day of light to moderate snow. Towards the end of the week, it will be sunny but it all changes on Saturday. There is potential for a huge dump from late Saturday all the way through to Tuesday however, Sunday there could be rain at levels below about 1400m ASL for a short while.
The outlook beyond next week suggests it remaining cold and unsettled…PERFECT !!
For the time being, that’s all folks and keep the naked snow dancing going as it is working !
