Hi folks,

Nice to see the snow arrive as per my forecast of the 3rd Jan. Well the good news is that there is more to come this week around Wednesday and Thursday with a bit more over next weekend.

The only downfall is the temperatures. At the moment it is very cold but even colder tomorrow (Tues) before a gradual rise in temps throughout the week. By the end of the week, daytime temperatures at 1500m ASL will be between zero and +2c and this is expected to last into the first part of the following week which is above average for this time of year.

As I said before there is some more snow to come midweek, which is likely to last a good 24 hours but it is not going to be huge amounts, however, constant snow does add up! As we approach next weekend, it could become a bit windy with snow showers at any time.

It looks like the weather is entering into an unsettled period as this is indicated, through to around the 21st Jan. it is really hard to predict specifics so I am not going to bother ! it is fair to say that the jet is changing and so is the weather both in Bulgaria and also at home here in the UK.

Of course, I shall update again soon and update on any major changes.
