Can any1 tell me why the web cam shows no snow (pamps one) then when you click on it, it shows snow??My partner wants to try and get our holiday swapped however I say sit tight and by next Sunday we will have good skiing conditions!

the home page is very unreliable and seems to default regulary to show no snow in either bansko or pamps, then the only resort showing snow, borovets, always says only two lifts working! apparently there were eight lifts in service last weekend! i am only gleaning info from the discussion board and other sites but pamps seems to take longer to get the snow than borovets. depends when your going? feb will be fine but next week not looking good.re: Web Cam
the pamporovo wecam is in a dodgy place anyway i think...the snow always melts fast on the area it is overlooking...the runs r usually ok thoughre: Web Cam
they had a few snow cannons working last week the slopes were open all week but very icy a few days... it does needs to snow most days at the mo to get enough for everyone to ski on and have a good day on the slopes.....re: Web Cam
Was chatting to the Snowshack guy on Fri in Pamps. They provide the webcam and power and telephone line and have to have it on their building to look after it. Unfortunately the car park is a recent addition and the nursery slope you can see is south facing and catches all the sun so melts first. Directly next to that, just to the left of the view, is fine. Also at the top of the mountain they have a couple of snow canons belting out the white stuff!
