My forecast was for the snow to start falling by tomorrow night - looks like it may just arrive even earlier! Very Happy

Hornster,
As the system is reflecting your model now, wanna have a we go at a more detailed look at pamporovo?
What day is the model showing for it reachinig there and what levels of snow are being predicted by it?
Hugh difference appearing between pamporovo and other resorts on most sites ie 40cm in them over a few days compared to less than 10cm in pamporovo!

I'm at work at the moment and don't have the links to the various weather models and charts that I use, but I will do my best to get back to you asap.

However, because Pamps is at a much lower altitude and quite a distance away from both Bansko and Borovets (which are fairly close to each other) the forecasts are always going indicate less snowfall than both Boro and Bansko. Basically, the higher the resort and ski runs then , generally, the greater the snowfall.

The freezing level is going to be dropping to sea level towards the end of this week and the weekend which will mean that the snow will certainly fall on the Pamps mountains as well as in the resort.
Pamps will probably get less new snow than the other higher resorts, but it will still get a good covering I would imagine.

re: Web cam - clouding over

The interesting thing with Pamps is its southerly position. Surprisingly to some, at times this means it ends up with more snow than Borovets (quite often actually)--this is especially when areas of low pressure sit down towards the Med (where they get energy from the warm water to generate rain). Some of the weather coming thru may actually develop-so dont lose heart.
