Weight limit for Ski carriage??

Does anyone know what the weight limit for ski carriage on a thomas cook flight is?

we went with thomas cook feb 09 we had our ski bags packed with everything! weight was nearly as bad as my suit case they were put on the weight belt in fact she put both ski boot bags and ski on at the same time, i think it was just to put the labels on she didnt even look at the weight !! so i dont think there is a weight limit on ski's and boot bags as such ..

I flew with Thomsons a few weeks back and the weight was "supposed" to be 6kg, we obviously had a mardy check in lady who then charged us for the other 10kgs ... so just be careful! x

The carriage is for the skis/board only, you should not have any other items in there. 2 people last weekend were charged 200GBP for excess baggage as the snowboard bag weighed 45 kg!!

We flew with Thomas cook & were assured that 1 ski carriage amount accounted for 10kg. We booked for 2 ski carriages & ours weighed 18 kg & no prob at all.

We flew with Thomsons in Feb. We had one ski bag with 2 pairs of ski's, 2 pairs of boots plus hats goggles gloves. Bag weighted 40kg and they didnt bother, in fact we didnt even pay for the ski carriage.
