Wet Hire Boots!

Can anyone help?? we are going to pamps in March as first time snowboarders/ arse sliders!! and have been buying gear to take with us. Little unsure though about the hire boots, do you end up with soggy feet from the boots being wet and damp? Is it worth investing in waterproof socks? or is this just not a problem? any other advice on essential gear would be welcomed.

re: Wet Hire Boots!

These days most soft boots are waterproof. Every night I take the inners out and put them on a radiator but it's worth storeing your boots in a hotel ski locker which is normally heated to make sure they are dry every morning. If the hotel ski wardrobe is not heated do as I do. Place the inners on a radiator for the night.

re: Wet Hire Boots!

Thanks for the response guys.

Kiwi - going to Pamps and understand that you leave the boots in the ski depot every night so hotel locker no good.

Michael - I believe the socks are breathable (more like wet suit material)

Just didn't want wet feet all day.
