What's Bansko like?

Hi there,
My family went to Borovets in March and would love to return to Bulgaria again. We fancy bansko next time as it seems lovely and not as artificial as Borovets as in it has a proper Bulgarian town as opposed to a ski resort. Has anyone any info to give us about the resort etc

They are a big name in bulgaria travel but to be honest through personel experience they do not give a s!!t about you when you are there

It is cheap but things went wrong when we were away and on returning they fobbed us off and did not want to know. A standard letter was returned or as it seemed ? and as i say they just brushed everything aside

About Bansko

It's a nice little town, friendly peoples, and a lot of "mehanas", little taverns, where
you can eat cheap - the hole are nearly half prices compared to Borovets

the piste are always preparated

we are 10-12 guys from Denmark, team "fantASTIKA", who has been the the last 2 year, before that, 8 times in Borovets and 1 in Pamp

Bansko is brilliant! We have travelled with Balkan holidays for the past 2 years and have found them really good value and very efficient. Reps in resort are friendly and helpful, ski instructors excellent. We are happy enough with the service to have booked with them for our 3rd visit to Bansko for New Year.

great i live and work here and this season was brilliant good snow cheap liv ing the dual pricing is a bit sh1t when you get the lift pass but the rest is cool
