What's it like skiing on the man made stuff (ie from the cannons)

IS there that much difference or is exactly the same as a normal dump. Trying to remember but I can't recall the last time I skied when there wasn't 'natural' snowfall everyday (not just in Bulgaria) - never seen cannons used.Cheers

different texture, its a fine spray of water freezing in the air remember not big fluffy flakes coming down from the sky (oh how i dream...), as long as its bashed and groomed then very similar, slightly more drag maybe.re: What's it like skiing on the man made stuff (ie from the cannons)
like most times Man tries to imitate Mother nature you end up with a passable alternative which is not quite as good. Much better than none though.John.
