What's the story in Bansko??

Hey all,

Been reading all your threads - good stuff.

Bit confused about the conditions in Bansko as webcams look good, but few lifts open and there seems to be a mixture of reports in the threads on this site.

Not heading out till the 14th, but worried about conditions. What is it like? And is the ski route to the resort open? As I've heard this is great (when there's snow obviously).

the ski route is very fun, but I doubt it will be open for a few weeks yet

I believe the ski road is already open - well, my contact in Bansko told me it was yesterday...
