What's up with this site?

Could someone please advise me as to how this site operates?
A previous question I posted is listde as having 5 replies - yet when I open it I can only see ONE!. I checked a couple of others and the actual replies are a lot less that the number shown?

Is there some sort of archive mechanism or is it just playing up?

some times a 0 gets added to the list under replies where no1 posted anything so all the numbers go down the list by 1. if ya can understand thats. its hard to explain
