What % board in Boro?

What do the Majority do in Borovets apart from drink! Board or Ski?
I learnt to Ski 2 years ago but had an hour snow board taster on my last trip to Austria and it felt like it was definatley for me so have gone for beginner snow board in Boro.

We just came back from boarding on Sunday, and it was our first taste of it as well, after deciding to ditch skiing in its favour. It was a good decision. The ski schools were packed and didn't seem to be doing a great deal other than standing there watching, with the occasional snow plough, for the first few days. We had a lesson in a group of 5. Our teacher only gave us one day's lesson and the rest of the time we basically taught ourselves, with the end result that we all managed to get ...

Our teacher only gave us one day's lesson and the rest of the time we basically taught ourselves, with the end result that we all managed to get down the mountain from the top of the gondola by the end of the week, beautiful views and lovely quiet powdery slopes. There are enough boarders that there is some solidarity as well, and let's face it - who wants to walk around in those ski boots??!! Tip - get up early and onto the slopes at 8am if you can - it's a great time to practice.
