Just had a thought and wondered if anyone can help. When you go and get your hire boots and stuff is it best to get a size bigger than you really are, Also do you need to know what your size is in european terms i.e, size 5 in UK is 38 in europe? Probably a stupid question but thought I'd ask.
Thats piffle............ with extra thick socks on and room for your feet to move, the last thing you need are boots that are too small.
Just ask for your normal size, if you say size 8 they will understand. If they are too big or small when you try them on they will change them immediately, or any time during the week without any fuss.
The same goes for skis. As a rule, stand the skis up on edge and they should come up to the bridge of your nose.
Never worry about changing anything ...
