What are the ski runs at Borovets like?

Just wondering how good the runs are for less able skiers?

I am able to mainly ski reds in bankso however my son was skiing blues in bansko.

Is he going to have a problem in borovets?

Thanks
Gilly

I think that if your son is in ski school or with an instructor he will be fine with Borovets-last year as we all know was fab snow and it was the best sking in the 23 years I have skied in Borovets but of course no one can predict snow conditions-the last 2 years have been good at half term-but I have had really bad conditions which is not pleasant-on the Rila side of the resort there is an easy run from top to bottom with some reasonable reds to progress to-access to these is from 2 chair ...

The 4 hours instruction in Borovets is a real bonus as not only do you progress you also have fun with the rest of the group-most of my ski tuition was in Borovets and it really paid off as I am still sking-so must have got something right! at 70.Good luck-

Hi Gillian,
Went to Bansko, for a day last year whilst in Borovets.
Your son will have no problem skiing in Borovets.

We did Borovets for the day from Bansko last year, I usually ski the blues in Bansko but managed all the reds in Boro. Enjoyed it so much we are having a week in each this year. Your son will love it
