What do I need to take to Pamps?Sterling, euros, travellers cheques
...and I know a stupid question...whats a good daily figure to budget for in Bulgaria for a family of 4, half board for the week. Sensible figures!

You better to take levs, also you can change your money at the bank at your resort

Um!Better rate in Pamps Alaska super market..Cash no ripped or marked notes.
Euros...No (Sofia airport is marked up in euros for duty free)
I'd stick to taking cash or your cash card.
Depends are you S/C or Half Board?

Myself/Gf and friends just got back we ate out 4 nights White Hart a couple of times, Barbq (opposite the White Hart) and a dodgepot traditional Bulgarian restaurant. Ate breakfast out 3 mornings, mid day pizza type snack with drinks every day. got hammered 3 nights, sloshed 1 and still brought home £75 from £500 spending money for two of us.
Hard to say depending on what you do in the evenings
Local bars drinks beer was 2 levs=75p, soft drinks the same. White Hart beer 4 levs £1.44, ...
