What do you SUGGEST?? EUROS or $

Please let me know what you suggest from your experience in bulgaria(bansko), is it better using euros or dollars ???

Take Lev's out with you but also take some sterling as you can change it easily and you geta good exchange rate, don't bother with Euro's or Dollars.

Why bother with getting Euro's and being stung for two lots of commission (sterling to Euro then Euro to Lev), use sterling as your second currency and you will only get hit once.

We go every year and I check the lev exchange rate with one of the instructors before we go.....I have never taken Lev or Euro I take new Bank of England notes and have no prob whatsoever changing them to lev and it is much much cheaper and no commission

I would suggest Malaysian Ringgits as the exchange rate is great at this time of year

best to go for brand new - the banks can usually sort you out
