Am in Boro on Xmas day this year, never done that before. Just wondered what actually happens? You can ski as normal I presume and there's probably a turkey or something for tea? .... and lots of drink naturally.
Tom - I was there last year - stayed in the Samokov.
The day is as normal - you ski for 4 hours but with a santa hat on and everyone is in the spirit - try the mulled wine at lunch break.
In the evening, if you are half board you will get the Xmas dinner - this is Bulgaria's version and consists of a cold meat and chees starter ( just like a continental breakfast) followed by FISH, followed by TURKEY, followed by a different cold meat and cheese final course. It's well worth trying it ...
