What if ?

Should the unthinkable happen and we have no snow (we are 1st timers going 3rd January with Ingams).what happens, what do we do, surely the snow cannons can't provide enough snow.
Has anybody experienced a no snow situation in Borovets ?
PS , we are the family who goes on summer holidays abroad and within 1 hour of getting there the sun goes in ! ( honest, 3 times in 2 years )

i too have been panicking about the snow! we are going to be in borovets on 3rd jan and we are the kind of family upon whom it always rains!!!where are you staying?

staying at the Ela with wife and 13 year oldThought seeing as we always get poor weather in summer we would go the whole hog and go for some really bad weather and go to a winter resort with loads of snow.
looks like the curse has returned for this one as well

One time went to borovetz, and the mountains wheir green.
As alternativ: going to Sofia, market Samokov, rila church, swimmingpool! div Bars, etc.
But lucky for us the second night it began to snow ( 70 cm) more than enough for the next 10 days. In that their were no snowcannons in borovetz. Now a day the piste infront of the Rila hotel is allways snow because of the snowcannons. And the higher area always carries snow.
Lucky for you the air pressure is changing above the balkan next ...

Relax. The snow will arrive soon, just wait and see!!!!In the unlikely event of snow not arriving in time at Borovets, your tour operator will arrange coaches to bring you to Pamporovo where the snow record is better.
As far as I remember, this has only been necessary once in the last 12 years.
You'll be fine.
