What is the fascination?

What is the fascination with the weather reports on this site? It's not like any of you are going to cancel your holiday unless you get 17 feet of snow! Relax, you're going on holidays regardless, worrying about the snow conditions (speaking from my own experiences) rarely has any effect on the planetary meteorological situation. However, if a butterfly was to flap its wings in China, well that's a whole different story!
