First time to Borovest 1st March with family after 2 trips to Pamps. What in the learned opinion of the forum is the main difference between the 2 resorts.re: What is the main difference between Pamps and Borovets

Went to Pamps last New Year with teens.
Going to Boro this NY with teens.
I'll let you know later in January, less any NY stuff cos that won't be relevant.
Actually, I chose Borovets this year because there is a greater choice of runs/ski area, so it's better for my more advanced boys, and it is higher so there's a better guarantee of snow, especially as NY is early in the season. Last Jan the snow wasn't really there in Pamps...

In Pamps you generally have to get a bus to the slopes, in Boro seems it's a short walk to the gondola.
I liked Pamporovo, and I expect to like Borovets too! At least the beer's likely to be the same, LOL!

Been to both. Boro beats Pamps in every way.Just for your info I am in Borovets at the moment and was boarding in a foot of powder on the slopes on Saturday. All the runs have plenty of snow right into the village.
You will have a fab time.
