What is the skiing like in March?

Hi Guys,

I'm thinking of booking a holiday to Bulgaria with a load of mates. The best time for us would be in March, what are the conditions like then?

There will be several beginners in our group. Is it best to book lessons before you go or whilst there?

Also, is it cheaper to hire ski's when you get there or over the net?

Skiied for the first time in mid March 2003 - conditions were great - although by the end of the day, the snow at the very bottom of the slope by the Rila in Borovets was starting to melt.

Book everything before you go - it's about half the price of in resort.

hi i was told by a local ski insructor that march is the best time to ski . book every thing this end much cheaper .say hello to nick from dave he runs the titanic bar opposit the rila hotel they do good steak and chips we just came back on the26/12/ have fun
