We are in bansko at the moment, we have been here for about 3 days and we cant find much else to do apart from skiing or snowboarding, we did however find bowling where you could also play arcade games, but that doesnt really keep you amused for a whole week if anybody has seen or heard about anything entertaining or interesting around?
As I understand - drinking is the main sport in Bansko What are your comments on snowboarding conditions? What slopes are open and how long they are? What about off-piste?
Ok, i understand, but for me, 14 years old, i cant really go out drinkin in a bar although i would like to, and the previous, if you dont wanna help then get of this god-damn forum! and for Kris there are a couple of slopes open, there is one at the top of the mountain and one or 2 3/4 the way up.
There's too many folks on here are quick to form opinions - lets not forget this place is open to everyone and to suggest somebody is a "muppet" is not too bright - especially when they don't know them - in this case a 14 yr posting reasonable questions - mmm! bet they've got their own opinion's of some of the folks now!
In most case's the posting on here a really good but steady on fellas and give the new-comers a break - or is this how you treat folks on the slopes?

Alternatively if you are with an adult and you really don't want to ski rent a car and visit nearby villages such as Melnik or the Rila Monastery. There is a narrow gauge railway which passes through Bansko at the far end of town - again you could use it for a day trip somewhere different
Lots of things to do - just depends on what interests you other than skiing/boarding

Before you get to the first square you will come to a cross roads. Tahe a left and if its there it will be on your left. It would also be possible to hop into a taxi and head down to Blavograd to the cinema. Journey 1/2 hr hould cost no more than 50 lev. Damed if I can do much more than eat and a few pints at the end of the day
