What new for bansko

Hi everyone.

I'm goin to bansko next year and wondered if anyone knew whats being planned for the ski area. ie new runs/lift etc.

Unlikely anything for next season but a new gondola is planned hopefully for 2008.

A new gondola and an expanded ski area is definitely needed to accommodate skiers/boarders staying in the newly built and to be completed apartments.

I understand that there are two new pistes being built (9 were applied for).

at the moment there are many many many new buildings going up and not that it will interest the skiers but believe a new golf course designed by that Ian Wosenum or whatever his name is!!! (sorry not a golfer)
