What other activities are there in Borovets?

Does anyone know if there's other activities like Ice skating etc to do in Borovets? Cant wait to go, going as a young group of six 24th Jan, bring on the party!!

alternativ: go to Sofia, market Samokov, rila church, swimmingpool! div Bars, ice skating (small). Also a hike in Borovetz mountains is nice.But don,t be

What other activities are there in Borovets?
GemThere is an outdoor Ice Rink in the middle of the village, but it is very small.
A couple of the bigger hotels have swimming pools and there is ten pin bowling alley in the Samokov Hotel.

So Gem you can hike different tours to the region with different distance and grad of difficult.
The small ice ring is between Rila and Samokov Hotel.
A trip to Sofia is possible the buses goes every 30 minutes from Busstation Samokov town, and a tour cost 3 levs. There is a new Restaurant in Samokov town called Old House, tell you some more when I'm back on friday for eating there.

We were in Borovets for the first time last year, and was so good we are going back on the 24th of Jan 2004! There is loads to do in Borovets. You can ski until 10 o'clock or if you like, bum board which is pretty popular night time activity in front of the Rila hotel. We were in Borovets for the first time last year, and was so good we are going back on the 24th of Jan 2004! There is loads to do in Borovets. You can ski until 10 o'clock or if you like, bum board which is pretty popular night time activity in front of the Rila hotel. As people have said before there is a small ice rink and a bowling alley not to mention loads of bars which are just so cheap! There is a ski jump show by all the instructors one night a week, there is also a Bulgarian night which to be honest is best missing because it is a pile of poo. We went because it was free all night but it would have been cheaper buying our own drinks as the bar shut at bout 11. Where are you flying from? We fly from Manchester
