What size skis

Can anyone offer good advice as to what size / length of ski I should be hiring.
Me and the wife are basic beginners (just about manage a snow plough turn) but my 14 year old can ski.
Going to Pamparovo on 30th Jan - Malina Village

The ski equipment centre will measure all this for you. Typically the size of ski you require is to the middle of your nose

I went to Borovets last year and it was great but I have nothing to compare it with so I thought I'd try Pamporovo this year. I will make up my own mind which resort suits me best.
Why the profanity regarding the USA - please remember children also read these messages.

Im 6ft 6" and weigh 16stone and I have big ones......hope that helps.

In all seriousness generally speaking whatever yur height, the ski tips should come somewhere between chin and nose. I am 5'9" and ski a 160. My wife 5'1" skis a 150
