Any tell me what the best slopes are in Borovets? I hate narrow runs and stuff so steep and icey you need crampons to get down - itermediate standard? Anyone?
get yourself over to the top of the gondola the two far slope there are long and excellent skiing, and at most of the beginners stay in the bowl on the other side of the gondola station they are quiet. i think one of the slope on the far side is the olympic run, called yastrebets

its not to bad if you take it slow, i've only got 3 weeks of skiing in me and i did it fine, the scariest thing is watching the 9 year old school kids doing it in a tuck position all the way down!
olympic run was ok when i was there in jan , it had the best snow and was really quiet , but the t bar is a bit fast and frantic so take care going down and up !!! ]
mr ski
The top is good, but if you want nice big long (approx 3or4KM) then head to the TBAR. This is where its at and most people dont know about it.
Ski down from top station until you see a hut on your left and you will notice the top of the tbar. Cut accross there and there 2 nice big runs.
Enjoy.
