What to book?

Hi
Going to Bansko in March and not sure what to prebook in the way of lessons/lift pass/ski & boots - is it better to book it before we go or is it just as easy to wait until you get there? Also, we had lessons last year and although I ain't great don't really want to do the whole 'beginners' bit again...son and husband took to it like ducks to water but I could do with a few more lessons...any suggestions?

P.S. anyone been to the Lion Hotel in Bansko? Thanks Very Happy

re: What to book?

Was our 2nd time last year. They won't put you in the beginnners unless you've never skiied at all. The intermediate groups cover a huge range of abilities - they'll sort you one out that suits you. I'm still quite nervous and am happy just sticking to green, blues and the odd red.
I'd book the lot with your tour operator if I were you - it works out loads cheaper, and it's less hassle

re: What to book?

Katie,
we booked before we went with Bulgaria Ski and they were great. However because we lost a days skiing due to high winds we skiied on our last day and had to hire the equipment again. This time used BanskoSport and the price was so much cheaper. 20 Levs (about £Cool for all the equipment for a day. Will definately use them again next time. They did really cheap priced lessons also. i would recommend them. Bansko Sport have a tent below the Gondola car park
