I am off to ski in Bansko on 13th March and I was wondering what to wear on the slopes - do I need to bring extra woolies or just the normal polo and vests?
My first visit on my own and I cant wait to get going - many thanks sue allen
Itdepends on the weather of corse, if it looks like it may be real cold then take some extra layers. but nomally you would be fine with your polo and vest under your ski jacket.
Dear Sue, i would advise you not to overact with sweaters. The weather is warmer. You can take your sun protector, goggles and helmet. And necessarily the good mood. I hope to spend an unforgettable holiday.

I personally go for base layers ... which translates into a few long sleeved t-shirts under my ski jacket ... you can add or remove depending on the conditions on the hill. Same with the lower half, a pair of jogging bottoms under your salopettes usually does the job.
The best thing I've added in recent years is a BUFF ... it can be a hat, a scarf and will protect your face against the wind ... just ...
