Hi,
we are coming out on the 15th Jan. and this is our 2nd time in Borovets (we came out last year) and so we are 2nd year skiers.
We have 2 kids aged 8 and 10. At those ages for ski instruction should the kids go in a separate group (kids group maybe) to us (Mum and Dad) or stay with us? Last year they held us back a little but one year on that may not happen.
I cannot see any kids dedicated ski instruction groups for kids over the age of 8.

We are a little nervous to separate but we want to progress more than last year. What happens at lunchtimes when parents are on other slopes etc..?
Not sure about your kids skiing but my son has skiied in same group as me since he was 6 and its me who holds him back ....... but we both started skiing at the same time so if you're more experienced it may not be the case for you. I know when he has had 1-1 when he was little his instructor and my instructor would arrange where and when to go to lunch so we saw each other during the day and some afternoons we would ski together so maybe that would work for you
We started skiing when our boys were about the same age, we always thought it exstreamly impotant to ski as a family. After 2 years of skiing the boys were were overtaking us. Dont worry, enjoy your time with them, they will soon be overtaking you, shouting "Hurry up".
The 1st time we took our kids skiing was to Boro and they were the same age as yours.
We used Borosport for our lessons. Our girls went in the kids ski school. They were a little nervous about leaving us but in the end they had a ball! They made loads of friends who they used to play with at the end of their ski lessons.

Hi shey,
The 1st time we took our kids skiing was to Boro and they were the same age as yours.
We used Borosport for our lessons. Our girls went in the kids ski school. They were a little nervous about leaving us but in the end they had a ball! They made loads of friends who they used to play with at the end of their ski lessons.
We gave the kids money to buy their lunch. Their ski instructor took them to a restaurant made sure they were all sat together and they ordered their own lunch. One day i did join them, all the children loved it and especially seemed to enjoy their independence.
The kids dont have to go to ski school all the time so you can always ski together when you want to.
