What to wear??

firtsly I'm a complete newby at this skiiing lark ,Going to borovets next week and was wondering how cold it gets on the slopes.What advice would you give for what to wear under the ski gear, have got some thermals but will i be warm enough with just these or will I need extra layers on?? might sound like a stupid question, but I want to start packing!!!!!

came back from boro on sunday and at the end of last week it waswell below freezing on the nursery slopes in front of the rila -8 at times even colder up the mountain as long as you wear good thermals salopettes and atshirt and ski jacket plus a good hat and gloves you should be ok i suggest if you havent already got one to buy a snood to keep your neck and face warm and dont forget your goggles if you do forget anything there are plenty of reasonably priced places in boro hope you have a ...

Aldi had a good stock of handwarmers last time I went in. They can be good if your hands get cold towards the end of the day.

We wear thermals, salopettes, a mid layer fleece of some sort and the main ski jacket lus hats and gloves / helmets and gloves!

-18 up the mountain in pamps last year and no probs with this combo

t-shirt and jacket, trousers and hat. job done!

It really depends, but by the time you are heading down the hill, you soon warm up. Very Happy

I wore just a vest under my snow suit and was still to hot, hat gloves and snow suit is all you need.

Make sure you take light t shirts for the evenings, They seem to heat all the hotels and bars to about 40c.
