I booked 26th Dec ~ 3rd Jan.
Who knows about season opening date of Borovets?

as fraser says it officially opens on the 19th dec. At the moment it is very warm but the forecast is for colder weather later this next so fingers crossed for snow

Hi,

We are travelling to Borovets on Boxing Day, Can you tell me whether the slopes are open, and how much actual snow at the Rila?

They officially opened today but the chairlift in front of the Rila was off due to the 'Power company performing maintenance near Borovets'. We've been told everything should be operational tomorrow (20th December).

They've also got a ski jump show & lots of entertainment on tomorrow so they better open up fully!
