Where is the Edelweiss?

Where is the Hotel Edelweiss situated? How far is it from the Hotel Rila (where I gather the lifts are)? Or how far is it from the gondola (which appears from piste map to be slightly removed from other lifts?Remember, a puppy is not just for xmas, so give 2.

I'd say it's a good 10-15 mins walk from the Rila lifts, and a bit less for the Yastrebets gondola. Taxis (which are always outside the hotel) were charging 10lv for the trip last year - which is well steep, but sometimes worth it when you've got a banging hangover. It's well worth haggling with them.re: Where is the Edelweiss?

Yeah, £3.50 is cheap - and I thought that when I was there last season. Now I live in Bulgaria and compare it with cab prices in other parts of the country, it's a serious rip-off! The same distance elsewhere - not inside the resort of course - will cost a less than a tenth of that. Still, better than walking, I guess.
The Edelweiss was clean, does a buffet style breakfast, and has a reasonable bar that will stay open 'til you're done for! The food in the evening was a bit crap, but ...
