you can take lev or better still only take £50 worth then change the rest in resort as they give better rates from pounds, have a good trip

I suggest take around £100 in Lev to get you going and the rest in Sterling (keep it somewhere safe). Lots of places to change Sterling to Lev in Borovets. Shop around a bit for the best rate (we got just short of 3 Lev to the pound). I would work out how many Lev you should get before you go in from rate outside and check what they offer/give. From a small change shop near centre, I got 56 Lev for £20, no commission, no trouble at all, last week. And it's fantastic just how far 56 Lev goes ...
