I am thinking of booking a week’s skiing in Bulgaria in March for me & my wife. Can anyone advise me which is the best resort to visit.
We are both intermediate skiers in our early 50’s. We normally visit Austria so we are used to good clean quality hotels. We enjoy good après ski but don’t want to be kept awake at night with rowdy revellers.
Can anyone help please?
hi Neil, March? We can recommend Bansko, we will be there 9th - 16th and a good clean quality hotel would be the Kempinski, 5* and the closest to the gondola (just above it to be precise) so truly ski in ski out!
I have skied i both resorts and pefer Borovets-I am on the wrong side of 70 and also like a ski in /out-I would recommend Alpin Hotel as it is small and intimate and is right on the slopes-they have their own ski store which is alongside the Rila slopes.I have never been troubled by noise in this hotel even though it is near to everything.
