At my age if I fall I break, so I never fall. Best run the black way over to the left of the Rila Hotel. Christo took a group of us down, definatly a stiff celabration drink after. Booze Booze

There is a little run in Boro to the left of Popangelov just as you get off the 4 man chair. Only a blue but narrow and always good snow. just be careful as you shoot out at the bottom as people cut across from the right.

The black on the back of Challin Valog in Bansko.. deffo the right hand side as you go down, got to be the steepest piste around...
With ice on it, it is a real test of nerve, because you know if you lose it, your going to be in a heap at the bottom Mad
And the champayne bowl beneath the `Goat' restaurant, dropped into one of the gulleys right at the end of the season (not safe before !!), slid down on my head (near 40 degrees) but managed to get up and complete it.... bring it on this ...

Has to be completing the Musala pathway at the end of my 1st ever weeks skiing. Pretty difficult as patchy in places but what an accomplishment skiing top to bottom. Last season, 2 years later did the black run that snowplogh mentioned to far left of Rila.......WOW!!

I'm hooked!

Same as Steve C for me but I think he has his right and left mixed up !!

The black at Chalin Valog Basko has to be the steepest Black I have skied. Not a long run but can be very scarey especially when icy.

Having said that I think the most memorable run was down through the powder lined trees from the top of blue 10 then across avalanche gullies with Steve C followed by a 4 and a half hour walk out in waist deep powder and a ski down the (nearly bare) road. This was then followed up ...

This was then followed up with a lift from Wendy to the bar for hot food and lots of beer. Very memorable indeed.
