Do they sell bottles of whishy in pamporovo for my hip flask or should i buy it at the airport? Also do they have a local bulgarian whisky or is it imported?

Yes Whiskey and Brandy freely available.Almost sure all Whiskey is imported.

Best to buy it at the airport in Sofia (if that's where you're flying to) if not but it at the UK airport.They do have their own over there but its cr*p. All other spirts they do their own and they are fine!

Why I say buy at the airport is that I bought some at the UK airport last year to take to some friends in Bulgaria and when I got to Sofia airport I found the same stuff there was cheaper!!!!!!re: Whiskey
Cool, i got 2 hip flasks for crimbo. Gonna take both of them!

The do sell Diplomatic Brandy & whisky which is in the small hip bottles. Brandy is excellent. All Eastern Eurpoean made (Russian)
