Who thinks Bansko's Changed???

I have been going to Bansko for 4 to 5 years now and found last time i went it had gone down hill! Its lost its old charm it used to have! Also prices have rose considerably! Who else agrees?re: Who thinks Bansko's Changed???
Not sure if it's changed Sarah as last year was my first visit to Bansko - but it wasn't as good as I'd hoped for.
Prices will rise, as they do in just about every country in the World... especially the UK and that will continue if improvements to the resorts are to continue.
It is still excellent value for money when you consider all the ingredience that make up your holiday, but I do agree that the on-going development in all the resorts is taking away much of the local charm ...

Yes this was being built when we were there in March!!! Amongst other stuff!They are building all up the mountain towards the slopes! and also there was sex shops etcc being put up!!! Alot of the old traditional resturants have lost their charm, we used to go to a resturant in the back streets that was superb, last tiem we went it was really bad :-(
