Why Hasn't Gatwick Got Heating On The Runway?

Only the busiest single runway airport in the World!
How difficult is it to drive a snowplough up and down?

We've got underground heating at our football pitch - why haven't they got it ! ! ! !

Exactly, and the BBC is reporting that the airlines operating at Gatwick are considering what action to take against the airport operator (not BAA anymore), more snow on way for us in the southeast Sat into Sun, its pretty but its not fun anymore. Hope you get away ok pete. Smile Smile

Seriously Pete I did some drawings for heating the South Terminal Office Block at Gatwick 3 years ago.
There was miles of external underground heating but unfortunately I had the drawing the wrong way round so it got installed under the A23 instead.
Just a minor typo. Could happen to anybody.
