Why Hotels?

We've been skiing for many years now, done most of Europe and USA but have only recently skied in Bulgaria. The first time we went, we fell in love with the place but have never stayed in a hotel, it's always been chalets or apartments. We've been skiing for many years now, done most of Europe and USA but have only recently skied in Bulgaria. The first time we went, we fell in love with the place but have never stayed in a hotel, it's always been chalets or apartments. The difference with the rest of Europe is that it doesn't cost a fortune to eat out and contrary to what I read from other contributors, that the hotel food is grim, the food in the local restaraunts is generally very good and the staff treat you well, as they want you to return. I've written a couple of replies to people trying to find the right hotel but with the influx of all these new apartments and chalets, especially in Bansko and Boro, surely it's worth making your own bed in the morning and try 'self catering' because one things for sure, you'll never nead to cook a meal, not at these prices. Even organising transfers, lift passes, ski packs etc. is easy, so that only leaves the flight to sort out, which are easy to find on t'internet. Any questions, give me a shout at denisal@emirates.net.ae I'd be happy to help.
