Why are the slopes on the top still closed?

Hello, can enebody tell me why the slopes on the top are still closed?
There is a lot off snow there so why not open then.

Possibly because it's either too winding for the Gondola to get to the summit or there is not enough snow down on the tracks leading on to the main slopes.

Webcams sow thick fog, plus not a huge amount of snow YET
