For me - it's that first run of the morning, when you're at the front of the lift queue, first on your favourite piste, and feeling like the whole place is yours. A friend of ours took a pic of me from a chairlift last season - a huge wide piste, with just me on it.Feels like the rest of the world doesn't exist......

I think everyone can relate to this, we all have most of the feelings mentioned!!
Whats more we all resolve to be better equiped next year, we solemly swear to hit the gym for a full year to prepare and after the first session we have had enough!!
Why then do we do it,
Some say because it's there,
But me, I think the answer lies,
Out on the piste somwhere,
For we are mountain lovers, and anyone can see,
That we will slave all year long,
For the chance to board ...
