Why no skiing at Borovets?

Assuming this website is up to date, does anybody know why none of the pistes are open at Borovets, when there's been snow on the webcam for ages?

I'm going in the middle of January and I'm starting to get worried!

Maybe everybody, including the instructors are having a break for Chritsmas Day!!!!

Yes,

I have the same feeling there..although it can change rather quickly in the mountains..januari is the coldest month since ages in Borovets...-4.6°C mean t°.

Last week, it wasn't raining that much but is was freezing, and now, it is reverse!

Let us sacrifice a strong brandy to Mr Freeze and hope for the best!

Heavy rain forcast for monday night (21mm), hope it does not wash the snow away!

thanks mate - we fly 26th - well at least the beer will be cheap at new year

I've checked the 6 day forcast and after Tuesday there is loads of snow (30cm to 40cm). Praying that it's right !!!!!!
