Hi Guys,
I see there's a few mm of rain forecast at low levels in Borovets soon and was wondering if that would effect the good snow?
January is supposed to be their coldest month isn't it?
I was there last Jan and it was pretty warm, temps look better (colder) this year but getting bit warmer in a few days.
I went Jan 20th last year to Boro going Feb 23rd this year and hoping for the good snow and low temps to stay?
If the long range forecast guys can give me a good ...

Where you getting your info from? If you're getting it from snow-forecast their forecasts are all wrong today, read the warning at the top of the page! As far as i'm aware it's still well below freezing out there...re: Will rain ruin the snow? :(
depends on how low down, it rained in the village last time we were in bansko but didnt effect the mountain at all.re: Will rain ruin the snow? :(
it was -6 in boro today, and this morning it was a slow as -17 so i wouldnt get too worried re: Will rain ruin the snow? :(
If water falls on snow it will melt it - not rocket science, but as you are not going for 6 weeks does it matter yet?I have been in Bulgaria of an evening when there has been hardly enough snow to ski on and the next morning the cars are buried in 5 foot drifts.
Whatever will be will be. Relax.
