Hiya, first time in Bansko coming up on Boxing day and was just wondering if anyone has any experience of these apartments? Any good?Thanks in advance.

Which Mountain Residence? We have two apartments in Mountain Residence 7 (not yet fully operational) £ & $ seem to be up and running, don't know if there are any more.Hope this helps

Regrettably, I own an apartment in MR3 (now called Winslow Mountain Residence), the apartments are noisy, not well built and on an un-made road. However, they are close to the gondola (if there is any snow). Do you know which apartment as some are better than others!re: Winslow Mountain Residence - Bansko

Photo looks like MR3 to me I have no knowledge of the quality these apartments. (See post from lawyer237 above) but I would suggest that they are well located and look ok on the outside. Thought the price on your advert quite reasonable.Enjoy your trip

It is MR3 (now Winslow Residence). The room picture is one of the 2 beds on my side of buidling. As I know that the apartment above me is of a different design, the one below rented out by someone else then it mudt be one on the Ground or First Floor.
The construction issue is the noise. There is no proper sound insulation and the noise from apartments above and below can be awful at times.

The apartments are close to the Gondola (about 250 mtrs) but the problem is that you have to walk over an ummade road. Unless it has been improved then this is a sure way to twist a foot and if you are not leaving ski boots at the Gondola a great way to ruin them.
There is a bar (of sorts) but in all the weeks I have spent in Bansko (about 25) I have never, ever seen anyone drink in it!
