Just sat here reflecting about a week since I came home from skiing.
I used to hate winter. January and February were months when all that pushed the suicidal tendancies to one side was the thought of Summer. Then I found skiing.
Now all I can think is that my summer holiday is less time for me to spend on the slopes next year. I can't wait for summer to pass and next winter to arrive.
Anyone else feel the same?
Come on guys and gals, summer or winter what is it for you and why?
i feel the same realy love skiing and now have the need to get it in as often as possible through the winter, but i still enjoy my summer holiday as well and iam going to spain for three weeks in august but cant wait until iam next on the slopes
Because I love snow and cold weather, when I can cozy up by the fireplace, light some candles and relax.Ifyou are cold, you can dress well, but if you're overheated, that's a serious condition, very unpleasant.
The idea of summer, of sweat and heat, makes me scream for winter. Brrrr.
Cold is the closest to...COOL
I'm typically British and never happy with the weather
Too cold in the winter - the last few days have been bitter in my book and you look daft walking down the high street in your sallopettes, which is the only reason I'm comfortable skiing!
If we get more than a few hot days in the summer I'm praying for cloud!
Spring and Autumn are therefore my favourite times of year - just about right!
I love both skiing and summer holidays - if only winter trips abroad were not so ...

I used to hate winter, being a biker you can't really ride after october. Then a friend of mine introduced me to boarding. I now have something to look forward to in winter.
As for the question, summer of winter, to be honest its the summer!!! (Don't much like the short days!)
