Hello all, Im thinking of heading to Bulgaria to work the ski season. Is it possible to just rock up and find work? Im not concerned with making money any work is dandy, just want to ski.Thanks in advance.

TimDepends on what you intend to do, times are as hard here as anywhere else and there are lot of people out of work, but anything is possible.

without speaking the language I'd say its pretty difficult to find a menial job. Are you willing to work for say 200 pounds a month plus tips?re: Work work

I recently returned from BG volunteering.
I have been involved with brightening up an orphanage in the village of Stob near Rila where i was staying for 2 weeks.
The area is beautiful and still intending on returning at some point.
Whilst i was there i picked up a lot of basic language and was interested in information about working the ski season which i couldnt recieve in the 30'c heat! Lol
