I just think you have to listen to other people and take it seriously. Just keep your eyes open at all times and keep safe.We all had a brill holiday and didn't let what happen spoil our fun. I still think it a good place to go, especially with a family when the prices in other resorts are sky high.

Four years in borovets and never encountered any problems with the bulgarians always found them to be very helpful. Just amazed to hear people dont get safe deposit boxes when they stay, this is the first thing i do wether in borovets, or any holiday resort.re: Worrying Stories
I had my Burton gloves stolen by a borosport instructer, luckyily for me someone else saw him take them. When challenged he denied it then a glove fell off the chair next to him and he walked off. will not be going back to bulgaria, saw a lot of corruption in the week i was there.re: Worrying Stories
You can't leave everything in a safe deposit box! I was waiting for an important phone call, I needed my phone with me. I'm sure too that Dan wouldn't have wanted to leave his gloves in a safe deposit box! LOLre: Worrying Stories
TJ you are right i always have my phone with me but money and valuables are always left in safe deposit it makes sense wether in BG or any holiday resort.re: Worrying Stories
Better look after me gloves then, I left my expensive gore-tex gloves on a ski rack at bottom of the gondola in Obergurgl, Austria for 3 days and nights, they just stayed there, nobody touched them, I used a spare pair but was astonished to find them again, think I had better get a snowbaord lock for BG.

DOES ANY1 KNOW OF ANY GOOD BARS IN PAMPS, I HEARD THAT BJ'S IS GOOD CAN ANY1 GIVE ME ANY GOOD ADVISE AS I HAVE NEVER BEEN B4 AND AS I AM ONLY THERE FOR A WEEK I DON'T REALLY HAVE TIME TO LOOK AROUND. ANY ADVISE WOULD BE GREAT.THANKS

I left my ski a thong T shirt on the back of my chair in a bar. Got outside...realised...went back in...it had gone! It even had my name on it...LOLre: Worrying Stories

Rossgo into new topics and ask that question as a new thread you will get more help, most of the nightlife is around the perilki hotel in the centre, DJ, Apres ski, daks loads of others, where are you staying?
